The company contacted me regarding a position, due to an employee who
worked with me at my current job and is now at this company. The
initial interview was a phone interview with the Tax VP and Tax
Director. After the phone interview they invited me to their offices,
which is about 2 hours away, to meet with them. I met with the group
director for about 1 hour then he took me to lunch to finish the
interview. He invited me back to meet the group I would potentially work
with. I went back to thier offices for a 2nd meeting which lasted 4
hours including a lunch. Most questions from everyone at the company
related to my previous and current experience. I believe some of the
2nd meeting related to how well I would interact with the group I would
be working with in the future - how well I "fit." There were more
questions relating to systems than I expected. But in today's world it
is very important that you are very familiar with computers and your
industry's software. My gas and mileage were also paid for by the
company.
