There were two rounds on in-person interviews. Be sure to get out and
look at Hartsville, to see if you want to live there. It is a small
town, which is different for a lot of people. However, it does have
good amenities for such a small town, such as a YMCA. SC is, however,
the 51st state, including DC, in it quality of education.
I interviewed with the boss and peers. It is important to keep to your
interview schedule, so keep an eye on time. Of course, ask about the
qualities of your boss. They wanted to know why I wanted to work with
Sonoco. Also, as there are so many family members at Sonoco it is
important to treat each person with extreme importance. You will find a
rather conservative culture that interviews you from across the desk.
