Not good. There have been a lot of changes over the past four years and
sometimes things seemed as if they would get better, but lax oversight
by corporate and ethically-questionable behavior by SIS management
effectively derailed any progress. Four years ago, we had a diverse
workforce, communication between employees, mostly part-time employees,
and much more fun at work, although a lack of operations oversight meant
that many orders went unfilled. Now, very few sales reps are left from 4
years ago, most sales reps are temps or wre recently temps, rumors run
rampant and management is openly derisive of us peons. There is still no
operational oversight and 30-50% of the orders fall through the cracks.
There is no opportunity for advancement unless one wants to join after-
hours drinking etc with management; even then advancement is very
limited. However, we have just been purchased by our original owner and
I do expect major changes in the near future.
