Overall, most of the Japanese mgmt are very dedicated and approachable. But there is a fairly obvious sentimentment amonst senior Japanese that American mgmt cannot be trusted with authority. No incentive to make business decisions. No incentive to work beyond the scope of your position. When business is tough, the decsion is to layoff more american staff. Never do you see/hearof Japanese staff being laid off. great comany. Great products. Great at product launce execution and not too hot at marketing thru the product life cycle curve. I've been out for two years, no regrets. Just always hoping to hear some postive news about the place.
