Strengths/weaknesses in competition- sams has a 59 minute pledge, you
buy for tires and purchase road hazard at $9.00 per tire if they are not
through in 59 minutes or less from the time you give the tkt writer you
keys your are refunded $36.00* in one year they lost almost $60,000.00
and in that same year they had approximately 168 wheels fall off
automobiles that had been serviced by their shops* if the job is not
done is 59 or less the customer gets $36.00* if it is done is 59 or less
the installer gets nothing* sams may have speed but this is all * shop
talk for tire installation transaction "just get em out of here they
will be back"* sams does not have near the qcs(quality customer
service) that other places do* sams is not my first not my only tire
store i have worked in or at*i have been doing tires for more than 15
years*distribution channels- reorder/resupply takes forever and a week
and you never get what you order- order 15 get 2 or none at all*products
and services- special order tires takes 10-14 days- other places ups
same day or very next day*employee morale-the people the machines the
equipment the tools that they use are all worn out.
