Much of Sabre is Texas-centric which can be challenging for anyone not
in Texas. Many of the new positions are now being filled in South Lake,
Texas. In my opinion, the corporate culture is not very dynamic and
morale has been low lately. Much of this is due to the fact that Sabre
and its employees have suffered many layoffs in the past quarters. The
last major layoff was in the fall of 2003. The culture will depend on
your location (in Texas vs Remote). There are many long time Sabre
employees (20 years +) still working at the company.
Dress code is business casual with casual Fridays (in remote & TX
offices).
Hours are a typical 9-5 in the office. If you are a field employee your
hours are more varied.
Opportunities for advancement are really only available to those in
South Lake Texas.
