My personal package is based on hourly status, I am given premium pay for
anything over 8 hours consecutive and anything over 8 hours in a 24 hour work
period. Saturday is automatically considered premium at 1 1/2 the hourly rate,
and sunday is considered double the hourly rate. This the current setup at the
Otsego, MI plant, the other plants vary. Everyone is offered a 401k plan as well
as health, dental, and optical insurance. Pay raises and bonuses are negotiated
in contract. Vacations are earned by time of service ( 1week after 1 year, 2
weeks after 3 years, 3 weeks after 8 years, 4 weeks after 15 years, 5 weeks
after
20 years, and 6 weeks after 25 years, and we are allowed one floating holliday
per year. We get some perks, we are allowed $110 a year for a one time purchace
of safety shoes or boots, We are also allowed one set of prescription safety
galsses per year. We also have the option to invest in company stock after 2
years of service.
