Working with a comapny that tries to fool the public by changing the
stickers on the outside is hell! The efforts in marketing are
NILL becuase they can't wreck the false illusion. You see Ricoh owns
Savin, Lanier and Gestedner. Four Price Sheets - Four Dealer
Networks... huge employee turnovers, double billing and service techs
who can't keep their mouth shut.
Can you think of a reason to want to stay with a company that doesn't
have a sales process? The Administration is unside down. Favoritism
and discrimination is standard! What's good today will and does change
tomorrow depending on how the small time managers feel like excercising
what they beleive to be their natural powers.
The Corporation, as a whole, can't communicate, doesn't understand
marketing and pushing Solution Selling without knowing the first thing
about it. Their systems are inadequate, incomplete and the view across
the workplace see's nothing but three (3) huge walls: the first
contains sales; the second contains service and the third contains
administration. No one department knows what the other is doing and
they don't care.
I wouldn't recommend working for this company if it were the last
company on earth.
PS: The copiers and printers are very good...it's just to bad the
mechanism in place to sell, manage and distribute the products in pre
and post sales are so poor.
