Renault is an automotive producer called "generaliste" which means that
its production doesn??t specialize in one special market segment but it
offers all kinds of cars, from very small ones (Clio, Twingo) to luxury
ones (Espace, Vel Satis)with the objective to satisfy all customers,
with
the base on individual choice.
Renault??s subsidiary in Slovakia is "Renault Slovakia", providing all
necessary support to the business of the brand Renault in our country,
that is: marketing and communication strategies for newcoming cars,
financing policy, qaulity surveys, distribution of cars; all of these in
cooperation with slovak commercial network. Slovak branch is rather
small
(aprx. 38 employes including the management), totaly respecting
international framework, without any special local culture, the hours
are
very individual, managers use to work form the 8h00 to 18h00-20h00
according to the their duties and their capacity to do these duties. The
particularity to be mentioned, is, perhaps the problem of joint
functions
- for ex. I am responsible for the Public relations and at the same time
I am the Head of the communication unit. Managing "PR" projects and
doing the Communication duties, together with other activities is too
demanding if I want to do both on professional level. The same goes for
several my collegues.
