If you are not an engineer at Remtron, you, your experience, and contributions are just not "smart" enough to be considered. The company is small (about 50 employees) and opportunities for advancement are zero. Workers (except for engineers) understand, and have been told that nothing will enhance their chances for advancement. Not education, nor acheivement. The culture is relaxed and informal and the dress code is casual--even for managers. The company is flexible with hours and employee needs. There is little turnover, except for the general manager, who gets run off every 2 years or so. For someone that wishes to learn, grow and increasingly contribute to a growing small company, Remtron is not the place---it is a place to work 40 hours, keep your ambition to yourself and to go home.
