I love the work I do. It's just that my company doesn't appreciate it
very much. I have saved my company over $10M in the past 24 months, and
all that was expected of me was to save $2M. My pay has not increased,
I
have not been offered a promotion, and the future of my program (Six
Sigma) is in serious jeopardy. Actually, I am being "pushed" to take a
lateral (in their view) position that would have me reporting to someone
that is beneath me in the org chart and another person who is known for
his micro-management. Not exactly what I had in mind after
accomplishing
all that I have. Other companies heap lots of rewards and recognition on
their Six Sigma Black Belts in comparison.
