I am started off at $14.25 and I just recently received a 3% bonus, after
working about 5 months. I also receiving the option of a 6% matching gift from
the company for my 401K and am allotted up to 35% of my salary towards my 401K if
I chose to do so. Health insurance and dental insurance fees are low and the
company pays for the other half. I have stock options as well as options to
contribute more money to my long-term and short-term disability. We also
participate in goal sharing and depending on the performance of the departments,
we receive bonus checks in March. Unfortunately, I missed the cutoff time to
receive it for this year. We accrue about 5.52 hours of time off every pay
period, which is every 2 weeks. We can use these accumulated hours to take time
off when we need to. Also, because we are a lab and need to be available 24
hours a day, we only get certain holidays off. We do receive holiday pay, and if
you work on a holiday, you receive double. As a large company, we enjoy many
discounts including amusement parks, movies, food, etc. Also because we are in
the medical business, the company allows different health vendors to come and
exhibit their products so that we can use that to our advantage.
