Working at QBE is a very interesting place, due to the diverse cultures
dealt with everyday I am always learning something different. owever
this learning is been self passed and all the promsies made to myself in
the interview have not been meet and I have been left to fend for
myself. It is a very friendly place and most and I say most of my fellow
workers are very friendly however there are some that go out of there
way to make things very diffcult. The dress code is a very relaxed semi
casual and as long as u keep within the guidelines then everything is
fine. hours of work a very strict 9 - 5 and due to the lack of job
motivation or incentives Ive found myself arriving @ 9 and leaving @ 5,
which is something I never done before.
Opportunities for adancement are there, even if they are extremley
limited and not what you were lead to believe after your interview. The
big hurddle is communication, or should I say lack of it.
