There were no background checks or drug testing which would have been beneficial to eliminate those that did drugs and lied on their applications which turned out to be several people. I'm not sure how decisions were made but all in all I was hired for the position and when my manager quit I was forced into his position at no additional salary and did not receive an annual bonus as he did. I was never offered the bonus package I believe due to the complaints about the poor air quality.
