Job Title Business Outlook Survey
Graphics Manager This Prudential business unit ended up closing down. The entire conference and executive trainig facility was sold out and Prudential failed at the attempt to own their own learning center. I would not recommend working for Prudential full time nor would I recommend working for Sodexho as they were one of the other companies involved in the business decisions within this particular facility. The weaknesses exhibited by the senior management staff were totally flawed in order to make money as a conference center. Once Prudential realized that they had empowered the wrong personal to operated and manage the facility they decided to bail out. As well as Prudential bailing out so did Sodexho on all of it's 120 employees which were mostly hourly between 8-11 dollars per hour. The environment was very poor during the closing phases and many people became angry at Prudential in general but also with Sodexho who purchased the maintenance contract from Marriott. Marriott as a management company was much more proficient. They managed the food services, hotel front desk, business center, meeting room services and property much more efficiently than Sodexho and Marriott.
