well as medical centers in California and Alaska. Management of the
health system does not believe in borrowing to finance capital
improvements. While this can lead to some missed opportunities from
time to time, in the long run it means that the system is largely immune
to the variations of the financial markets. This is a company that is
here to stay. Providence offers top quality care. The cancer and
cardiac programs available at Providence medical centers are
internationally renowned and draw both patients and the best
practitioners to be treated and to provide treatment. The system
realizes that the best way to guarantee continuing dominance in the
field is to have qualified and stable employees. The employees at
Providence are as well cared for as the patients. I cannot think of a
better place to work.
