My first interview was over the phone because PwC did not recruit on
campus at my school. After that I was invited into the office for a
second round of interviews. The first interview was a lot of behavior
type questions, things like describe a time when you demonstrated
leadership/worked in a group/achieved success in a group environment?
Also they asked about the usual things like what I like to do in my free
time and whay my strengths and weaknesses as a person are. The second
round consisted of three interviews, one of which was with a partner,
and the other two with what I felt were comfort interviews. I say that
because one of the interviewers was a graduate from my university and
other one shared a major hobby/activity with me. I think this was
intentionally done in order to make me feel more welcome and show that I
would "fit right in." The whole experience for the second interview was
great and was a major reason why I accepted the offer. We had several
meals at nice restaurants with newly hired staff so they could tell
those of us interviewing what to expect if we did take the offer and
also to show the group environment. I was most impressed by the follow
up emails, beginning the next day when I checked my email I had emails
from almost everyone that I met during my visit. The emails were a nice
touch, they all said I could ask them anything if I had any questions
and that they enjoyed meeting with me and hoped I would accept an offer.
To me that was a big factor in my decision.
