I came through a Head Hunter. She set up the interview. I flew from
California for the interview. The lady I was supposed to interview
with did not come to work that day so I interviewed with an accountant
instead of the hiring manager. They requested a second interview, so I
came back and interviewed with everyone on staff and then finally with
one of the partners. I wore a business suit (navy blue) to both
interviews and flew back home the same day. I was offered the position
after a month and started immediately. After my second day everyone in
the office went on vacations. I had to figure out my job with
absolutely no one else in the office. After everyone returned to work,
everyone was amazed that I was doing exceptionally well in the position
and in less time than anyone else. My co-workers were crass, rude and
vile. Only a couple of people in the office were professional and they
kept to themselves. Meanwhile, I relocated to Seattle, WA and started
to look for another job.
