The business outlook is generally good for the Company and the public
acctg / consulting industry. Largely in part to Sarbanes Oxley. Once
Companies get the Sarbox requirements under control it's difficult to
say how the industry will do. In terms of people, there are many
intelligent hard working people here, but turnover continues to be an
issue. Moral is mixed and fluctuates with the work schedule. It's
busy season now, so moral is medium to low. It will increase as the
summer moves in and so will the turnover. Not having worked for any
other Company it's difficult to benchmark the firm against competition,
but re-organizations are frequent (and could be one of the reasons for
no org charts) and the client service model demands increasingly higher
fees from clients each year (standard hourly rates generally increase
6% each year), which may or may not be tolerated by the business
community.
