Porsche is a great brand with phenomenal sales results. It is wonderful
being surrounded by and working with a brand that most people aspire to
own some day.
After you get over the prestige of working for such an elite brand, you
realize that your work load depends on your work ethic. If you
consistently produce good work, then you will be working very long hours
for not a very high salary. The few people without the work ethic
guiding them, are able to approach their jobs more leisurely
attending 'meetings' that involve a day of golf, two hour lunch breaks
and manage to leave by 5:30-6 pm every day. It is all at the discretion
of who you know, who your manager is, and how much they love to hang out
with you.
Unfortunately, the morale is very low across the company because most
people work long hours and get very little appreciation or positive
reinforcement.
