Pitney Bowes is in a major transition from a company that sells products
to a company that sells total solutions including integration services.
The CEO is taking the company in the right direction and focusing on the
the process changes that will impact the company quickly and with
positive financial results. It is however, an East Coast Culture. It
spends its marketing resources on the East Coast and develops its
processes and marketing programs primarily for its East Coast clients.
Although it says that it markets to "corporations of all sizes," its
collection of offerings to the lower and middle end consumer are
meager. Pitney Bowes offers great benefits for individuals that are
married, have children and are younger (i.e. from 20's to 30's). It is
developing a Long Term Health Care Plan that is a great thing to see.
