I came from one of the target MBA schools where Pfizer recruits
(Floroda
A & M University) so I had one on-capmus interview with a general HR
rep. The interview consisted of basic behavorial interview questions
and
lasted about 45 mins. Pfizer really likes the STAR
response...Situation,
Task, Action, Result. Make sure you follow that format with your
answers
and you will surely get in. After that I had a telephone interview for
Round 2 with a Director which lasted about 30 mins. Same situational
type questions. Strangely, I got hired for the position and then the
team that I got hired to in June was dissolved 3 months later. I didn't
understand why they would hire an intern when the new the team was
dissolving since Jan. 2004. I thought that was pretty stupid. I, along
with the permanent employees on my team, interview for other positions
within the company. This was stressful since this was also the time
that
the hiring freeze was announced. Luckily, we all got hired to various
positions.
