Working with Kiewit has been, and continues to be, an extremely
enjoyable experience. After spending 30-plus years in the Air Force I
was extremely careful to seek employment with only those companies that
I knew were highly regarded within their particular market segment for
their integrity. Everything that I had heard about Kiewit has proven
true. The corporate culture is one of ensuring each employee is able to
meet their fullest potential. Within the constuction industry, Kiewit
is known as the "Harvard" of construction. Within the 2-plus years with
them, I have already had numerous opportunities to attend formal
training classes to increase my future promotion opportunities. In
Kiewit, your advancement is totally predicated on your desire and proven
ability. Dress codes vary depending on what you are doing on a
particular day. If you're simply working in the office, then chinos
with a golf shirt is fine. If on the other hand you're scheduled to
meet with a client, they expect a dress shirt and tie, as a minimum.
