Employee morale is low, probably from disruption of corporate culture due
to a merger with Perot Systems, low pay and lack of incentives. ADI and
SOZA were rapidly integrated after SOZA was purchased in Feb 2003, which
disrupted work relationships and processes that used to bond people to
the company and ensure loyalty. With no incentives and low pay, turnover
of the rank and file increased. The business outlook is good through Dec
2004, but it is uncertain if the company can remain competitive with the
anticipated loss of key business development leaders and senior
management after the earnout period has ended. A strength is that sr.
management is rapidly recruiting talent to be promoted when key people
leave the company. A weakness is the high cost of redundant overhead
staff, which means high overhead rates and lowballing of billable staff.
