Initially, I had not interviewed for the Territory Telephone Account
Manager position. I was in another company, Swiftel Technologies Pty
Ltd, which was later to be merged with People Telecom. I had just
graduated and was looking for a job online with Seek.com, and found an
Agent, Ambit IT&T. They soon contacted me to invite me to an interview
with the Administration Team Leader, Erin. I remember that day as 12
March 2004. There was one round of interview and the night before I
had prepared and researched this company. I was equipped with my
research notes and could answer anything she could've asked me about
their company. I remember her as being very very friendly and was very
professional. The specific questions she asked me was not so much
about experience, but if I knew anything about the company. Hit the
Jackpot! I recited to her all I had found of their company and she was
impressed and convinced of my genuinity and enthusiasm to become a part
of their team.
Specific questions were:
Why do you want to be a part of Swiftel?
Where do you see yourself in 3 years?
What do you know about our company already?
What kind of working experience in this industry do you have?
