| Bookkeeper/Administration Manager |
The initial salary offered was below the market value as this was a new
business
venture. I was at the time happy to accept with the knowledge that
there would be
rewards with the success of the business.
I was later offered shares in part of the business which was then
decided not to
be made available due to consultation with the business accountant. As
such, a
base salary of $40k plus superannuation was offered until further
growth in the
business would allow a future review. By the third year of business,
the base
salary was stagnant with an additional offer of a bonus to be paid
quarterly
based on the customer satisfaction of my work. The bonus scheme was on
a scale of
success up to the maximum amount of 10% of my base salary.
All travel expenses are reimbursed based on cents per kilometre
travelled.
Entitlements are the standard of 20days annual leave per year pro rated
for part
timers, 5days sick leave in the 1st year and 8 days thereafter per year
also pro
rated for part timers. LSL is accrued as a percentage of hours worked
and does
not become an entitlement until 10 years of service.
