There is a deep mistrust between the so-called "management" and employees. The hiring and firing decisions are made by the office administrator (with little or no input from the staff attorneys or partners) and is not based on job performance, honesty, loyalty to the firm, or any other worthwhile qualities. The employees and clients engage primarily in crisis communication.....usually attempting to cover up some attorneys' mistake. The Paul Hastings Atlanta office is a law firm in rapid decline... all of their own doing. If you are contemplating a position there, I would suggest you ask each law staffing agency in the area who told them not to hire any former Paul Hastings employees.
