The interviews I have been through have been more
conversational/informational than anything else.
I had 3 rounds of interviews, 1 with the recruiter (via telephone) who
tried to convince me to leave a full-time position with another
consultancy and another with a face-to-face with the Houston client-site
current employee (the person I was replacing) and then another with the
client director (via telephone).
All interviews were conversational/informational such as:
- Tell me about your experience in this area...
- What do you like about your current position?
- What don't you like about your current position?
- What exactly do you do at your current position?
- Here is the description of the position for one of our clients...would
you be interested?
- Tell me about your eCommerce experience (my area of expertise)
Each interview with the client followed the same pattern and there were
no strange tests or trick questions in the interviews. Everything was
primarily personal conversation mixed in with an informational
interview. IN all cases, I believe the interviewers were looking for
personality with good eCommerce experience.
After the client approves of you, the HR team at PDS will have your
paperwork ready within a day or two and after faxing in your relevant
paperwork to PDS, you can start your new job within a week.
