My job is part time. Up to 25 hours a week. Pay is less than $10 per hour. Pay
in general at Owens is low. But benefits are nice as its in the education
system.
Reviews are once a year and raises are dependent on the college's budget as a
whole and are generally a small percentage of your salary. Full time employees
are eligable for bonuses. Perks include free gym membership to the student gym
here. Again, vacation and sick pay accumulate pretty quickly. In working here
less than a year on a part time basis I have earned almost a weeks vacation and
a
weeks worth of sick leave. All employees do have to have 10% of their paycheck
deducted and invested into the school employee retirement system. Owens matches
your amount, I think dollar for dollar. Not bad but is a very conservative fund
which isn't growing at a rapid rate.
