My first boss at the Register once said "you won't get rich at the
Register."
He wasn't lying. The firm has a pretty strong policy on keeping
associates
within a salary range. Performance raises are anywhere from 0-7%.
Usually 3%
per year. Promotions are capped at 10% unless it is a huge grade level
jump to
make sure you are in the range. However, the range is so great you
rarely will
get more than 10%. All other benefits are standard. Tuition
reimbursement is
weak... $250/year. Yes, I said $250/year.
