currently the company is frantically attempting to reduce expenses and
their loss ratio. There is a lot of other competitor companies which
provide better or the same salary, better medical and dental benefits
and more security.
Morale was and still is very low. Now that the eliminations have taken
place, those employees which remain are unable to keep up with the
pending work that remains. I believe O c g hired temp employees to
handle some work for a short time.
I urge caution when seeking employment with o c g. while they were a
good company and seem to have a plan for the future, they are currently
unstable. o c g also does not provide very good training for the
systems you will be working in.
also, o c g has gone this route before, even closing offices. o c g
turned around 5 years later to reopen the offices and here again 5 yrs
later they are again eliminating.
Some time in the future this company may be quite good to work for,
until they get there plans in place and running smoothly, i do not see
they corp to run smoothly for a couple more years.
