With accounts coming in just as others exit, Ogilvy still looks like a
safe bet.
But a certain
mark it once had is fading. Global brand stewardship aside, Ogilvy 's
specialty
is they can find
amazingly simple ways to sell the most intensely complicated things.
Trouble is
now the
agency's perfected that so much its seems to be struggling to produce
the
standout work that
grabs young people's (that is, everyone's) attention, builds true
industry
regard, and
makes talent want to join. In truth, Ogilvy is staffed from top to
bottom with
professionals
(especially at top), who keep morale high, get paid well, and tend to
move up
into even higher
salaries - add the full cafeteria and other conveniences such as, atm,
stamp
machine, personal
shoeshine, and massage services all in the same building, and who's
complaining?
