Fullfilling an order becomes an embarresment as customers find out that
they will not be getting what they want, when they wanted it, and begin
calling in. OD, decided to outscopurce deliveries to various shippers,
but gives no clue of estimated arrivil time at the point of orderring.
Rather they just promise next day shipments from the on screen
orderring process. If an error in shipping does occure, only a very
precious few employees are trained and empowered to resolve the
problem. BTW, many of those problem solving employees were just
arbitrarilly "downsized". Good luck, folks.
