| Investment Operations Manager |
I interviwed with 5 people. The only person that actually knew what
the
job was was let go 4 months after I was hired. The second round- the
office manager did not have my resume-I gave her the copy I had-she had
no idea what she was talking about and no idea what the job entailed.
She read the resume for the fist time in front of me. The third
interview was with one of the "trainers" and the compliance officer-who
by the way was still studying for his tests and had never worked in the
securities industry! And the last interview was with the managing
partner--and I fell for his story-hook line and sinker. They made
everything so great--and when I actually began the job--everyday
someone
would yell--they didn't like securities, they thought the paperwork was
to hard, securities were stupid, if they didn't have to have their
securities licence they wouldn't even be doing them--The reps behavior
was out of control. Managment knew-and did nothing about it.
