Due to security demands, if interviewing for a job, be prepared to pass
rigorous background checks and psychological profiling ( employees are
required to take psychological tests and pass prior to being hired ), as
well as the standard drug tests and criminal record checks. Typically,
most interviews are done by the hiring managers with some involvement
from his/her underlings, if necessary.
Normally, one round of interviews is all it takes. Hiring decision will
be mostly based on personality, or as they like to call it "gut feel" of
the hiring manager. HR supports the process, but is not directly involved
in the interviews.
Expect the psychological profile tests to focus on honesty
(non-contradicting answers to similar questions).
Technical or skill-specific tests vary greatly from manager to manager,
however, in general, they are fairly rudimentary. Expectations are lower
comparing to industry average.
