I had asked about this so many times, with vaque answers as a response. You can obtain health insurance but the plan is very expensive and very limited. met life now overseas these insurance needs for diability or leaves. They are restrictive in the scope. No signing bonus. If you do a hand carry, or need to go to another store to collect something your customer needs, you are reimbursed for the milage, not the time. It is based on the milage and does not include the distance to the store. Therefore, if you live 30 miles away from the store and are driving to the store to pick up something to take to a customer near your home, you get paid for one way. The last time I did a hand carry, they were going tor eimburse me so little even though it took over two hours to accomplish because my customer is disabled and wanted to try on the items, they were going to pay me $7.25 for my milage. I chose to not turn in the paper work for the money. I know it makes HR very upset not to have the completed paperwork, so I admit to being passive aggressive and causing them to have the item as open. It was worth the $7.25 to have them aggrevated.
