This is a large corporation, that is buying lots of small privately
owned businesses and incorporating them under the corporate umbrella.
This process is always painful - going from a big fish to a small fish
in one fell swoop. There was more corporate culture requirements, some
of which were good - more professional attire, flexible hours, associate
perks, health benefits, etc. And, some of which were not so good - too
much structure, forms, forms and more forms, lots of meetings, less
information flow, lots of closed doors, less flexibility, etc
