Job Title Interview Survey
Plant materials specialist The hiring process for my present position did not require an interview. The open position was announced through a vacancy announcement. I was required to provide a written account of my past work experience and positions. I also filled out a written account of my knowledge, skills and abilities for the position based on specific questions provided in the vacancy. Then all applicates were rated and the top five were referred to the selecting official. The selecting official probably made calls to past and present supervisors, referenced individuals and perhaps others they knew may have personnal knowledge about applicants. From this information a selection was made and the offer presented to fill the position.
