The hours for this position are flexible and the dress code is casual
business with casual Fridays. The rate of pay is (for all levels of
employment) somewhat lower than the average in this area and in this
field. There is generally great room for advancement, as they do
promote from within however, there has been some displays of favoritism
in this area as certain individuals advance sooner than others. There
are several paid holidays and the position is Salary Exempt so there is
no possibility for overtime. Regular full-time emplyees earn 4.61
personal leave hours per pay period (bi-wkly) after you have completed
the 120 day probation however, you are not eligible to use personal
leave hours until you have been employed with the agency for 6 months.
NO EXCEPTIONS. If you become ill, have an emergency or other situation,
you may not have time off. (The policy is called "No such thing as
leave without pay.") The downside of being a salary employee with this
company is that they legally and continuously increase the workload
with no possibility for additional compensation and they are at-will
employers meaning you can quit or be fired at any time for any reason.
