Job Title Salary Survey
Contract Specialist I was hired as a junior in college, making around $19,500 a year. The checks where nice, and they give you a cost-of-living increase each year which when I was there was the largest in history, over 13-15%. I received a proformance bonus of $500 at the end of the semester. But once you get hired on full- time, which is not a given, you absolutely need to earn it, you make mid 30's. After 3 years you will be making at least $55,000, guaranteed. That's the government. And NASA has some of the best benefits and pay in the entire federal government.
