The hiring process was smooth except for the signing of the Arbitration
Agreement which prevents an employee from suing NCR in a standard court
of law. Any conflict resolutions have to go through an arbitrating
party who, in theory, are impartial to both sides, but this is not
generally the case. The interviews went off without a hitch and the HR
reps were very professional and helpful. The same cannot be said for
the engineering organization, for they provide very little assistance to
the new employee. (Its like been thrown into the sea without a life
preserver). I do not remember the interview questions, but I do
remember that there was a since of desperation by each hiring manager.
It was as though they could not find good engineers who would interview
there.
