Diversity isn't bad (and since we've had a few changes in upper
management, it's getting better); we have all the right policies in
place, and mostly I've found that nobody really cares much about
differences in people, as long as you do your job. We don't have a lot
of diverse upper management (VP level), but not too bad at the director
and manager level.
Corporate culture really sucks right now. We've been having regular
layoffs for years now, and just about everyone is working twice as hard,
for no raises or promotions. So morale is bad. Opportunities for
advancement used to be good, but recently there have been none, unless
you are willing to take a completely different job in a different area.
No regular promotions, and no raises last year. At the moment they
are "rebanding" people, and cutting pay.
The hours in Peachtree City aren't bad (50 hrs per week) but I have
heard that in a lot of places they work 70 + hours per week. I have a
friend who was a VP who just quit because he got tired of working 120
hours per week.
Dress code is business casual. In Peachtree, that's very casual, but in
Dayton, OH, it's a bit more formal. We have casual fridays, when we
wear jeans and sneakers. You can wear t-shirts on Friday, but polos are
more acceptable.
I wouldn't advise any friends to apply here.
