Job Title Salary Survey
Feed Producer Understand there is a WIDE range of pay for people doing basically the same job. Producers make anywhere from $30,000 to $100,000 per year. Those who make more than $50,000/per year (and there are many) experienced a salary freeze for two years (until New York personnel office found out). The days of that kind of pay are over. I admit, it's hard sometimes to have someone sitting beside you doing the same job and making a lot more money and knowing you'll never reach that level. New Producers can expect between $30,000-$45,000/ per year based on experience. Freelance Writers and Producers between $10-15/per hour. NBC News Channel employees receive same benefits of any other NBC employee through GE benefits (GE is the parent company). 2-weeks vacation through 5 years of service 3-weeks vacation 5-10 years of service 4-weeks vacation after 10-years 11-sick days per year 10-company holidays A few favorite employees receive a year-end bonus (this is a very secret thing that is NOT talked about at all). GE has terrific health benefits! medical/vision/dental 401K plan ...Basically any benefit you could think of GE provides. NBC employees receive employee discounts on GE appliances and discounts to Universal Studios Theme Parks.
