Marketer Motorola over all has traditionally been a "feel good company" meaning taking the employee into account quite often. It is changing to be a lean company focused more on bottom line. Culture, Diversity, opps for advancement: Older (1929) so somewhat "old boyish" but progressive in the fact that diversity is embraced at least on a superficial level. Employees have some amount of freedom in job mobility. There are some programs within the company. There is an obscurity in dealing with promotions and the inside track. Hours, Dress Code: Hours vary tremendously depending on the type of work being done. My job type has very "untraditional hours" do to peak work times coming at different times of the year and calling for hours and hours of work at those time. Customer centric travel drives less traditional hours as well. My particular job has a high amount of flexibility. Dress is not a factor in general. The business units that have face-to-face contact with customers are expected to be presentable on those occasions. Otherwise, use discretion but no strict code.
