Job Title Interview Survey
Financial Adviser First round, met with Vice President of Sales and maybe another manager. They have you take a math, logic and personality test. In the second round they want you to present a business plan detailing how your business will succeed. They're very vague on what they're looking for. Then they'll have you do a phone test, to see if you have what it takes to do phone sales. Altogether, I wasn't impressed with the Beverly Hills office. During my interview, the manager told me he planned to fire some people right outside his office. I was surprised by the level of negative gossip as well. Brokers spoke openly to one another (right in front of me!) of disdain for former employees, their co-workers and managers. There's also an arrogance problem there too. One broker spoke of how anyone with potentially investable assets under $20,000 is "worthless". The VP of sales told me how he wanted to have a more "cooperative" group of brokers. Good luck!
