I went through two rounds of interviews to recieve my internship.
In the first round, Milliken came to my campus and interviewed
potential candidates. The interview was fairly relaxed, but I have
heard that other interns were not as lucky. I was asked very simple
questions such as "What do you want to do with your degree?" and "How
did you find out about Milliken?" The interview was mostly an
information session with the interviewer explaining what my internship
would involve and what Milliken & Co. was.
For my second interview, the company paid for me to come to
Spartanburg. I was interviewed by my future supervisor and the
interview was much harder. I was asked questions such as "What is your
most valuable strength?" and "What are your weaknesses?" Also, I was
asked to tell my supervisor what I knew about the company already.
