Back in summer of 2001, summer analysts got a $55,000 salary prorated
($1100 per week) to 10-12 weeks. Perks included black car rides home,
$30 meal allowance per night.
When offered a fulltime position, I also (unbelievably) was offered a
cash signing bonus of $10,000, plus salary advances if necessary for re-
location. First-year bonuses in 2001-2002 were pretty poor as the
environment was pure garbage. Bonuses ranged from $5000 - $20,000 in
summer of 2002 for first years.
