I was being paid a base salary and an annual bonus. I had no signing
bonus. Base salary of $54,000 and bonus that depended on performance.
The bonus is tiered based on position so the higher the position the
greater your %age of bonus. In 2001 my bonus was around 15,000. Up to
five years employment you receive 2 weeks vacation per year, with 5
floating holidays that you may take at any time. They did away with
sick days, and were granted as needed. I received full health benefits
including dental. I was able to choose what kind of coverage I wanted
and the more freedom (ie. seeing any doctor) would cost a little bit
more to the employee. There was a set amount that the company would
cover. We received a company car as well with gas and insurance paid
for. We did pay .34/mile for personal use. There were monitary
incentitives offerend throughout the year as "kickers" for good
performance. Stock options were given to me and others at your
review.
They vested in a 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 manner, meaning after one year 1/3 of
your options could be exercised, after two years 2/3 could be
exercised,
etc. Any options not vested if and when you leave are lost.
