It seems the average starting pay is $7.25-$9.00 depending on experience. I've gotten 1 raise - I now make $8.30. Not great, but not horrible for my level of experience. Wardrobe consultants get a very low base pay- about $4.50 an hour- and then various commissions on different types of sales. The best consultant in my store makes about $55,000 a year. I'm not sure exactly how the managers pay works, but they make commission, too- as well as bonuses for store performance.
