Overall, it's a good company to work for. They really nurture
creativity and individuality, and they care about their employees. They
treat us to nice dinners, encourage us to have fun (in our store we
have a safe dartboard and some wiffle balls and tennis rackets), and
listen to our concerns. The company as a whole is very easy going and
accepting. One interesting fact- all the people who appear in the
commercials are real employees. Another interesting fact- George Zimmer
is the largest contributor to NORML. As far as the merchandise, we
definatly kill the competition. The majority of our clothes are made in
the exact same factories as clothes from Nordstroms and Joseph Banks,
but we just put a different label on them and sell them for as much as
half the price of our competitors. Our tuxedo rentals are far less
expensive than the competition and are the exact same quality. But what
really sets us above the others is our customer service. We give the
customers a fun, relaxing, personalized shopping experience, and we
really back George up when he sets the standard of "You're gonna like
the way you look- I guarantee it!"
